July 26th, 2015 Annabelle turned 6 months old. I walked in for a mammogram and ultrasound thinking I had a fluid filled cyst in my breast that needed to be drained. I had noticed something when Annabelle was 3 months old but never thought it could be cancer. The bump was just too big to be cancer. But. It. Was. The course of my life was changed forever when I walked thru that door. I am so thankful for the doctors, nurses, my "Greys Anatomy team" at UCLA and for my incredible community that rallied around me. I wish I could list every single one of you who offered us support during those difficult times. 5 surgeries, 4 rounds of chemo 2 years of physical therapy, 1 house sold and not only am I still standing but I have been able to be a support for women going thru breast cancer. I know "I have been assigned this mountain to show that it can be moved" I was dropped into the middle of a storm that day but I soon learned that I didn't have to "withstand the storm", I learned that "I am the Storm" #HopeMovesMountains, #Survivor, #Momof3, #TellYourStory #StandUp2Cancer
